A young foal
We were able to take some photos of a just two week old foal that lives with my parents’ neighbours. I was happy to work with Isa who got me started with some good hints.
I was also not working with one of my regular lenses here, but with a Nikkor 70-200mm which enabled me to keep my distance from the horses. Isa worked with a Sigma Art 135mm lens. This enabled us to keep our distance to the horses as young foals are well protected.
In the following four pictures, you can see the interaction between the horses and our neighbours dog. While they are used to her, she will still get chased away if she gets too close to the foal.
